About 3M DeKalb Campus Distribution Center:

The DeKalb Campus is one of our corporate warehousing locations. It is a 3 shift operation (5 days a week, 24 hours a day). The warehouse is heated in the winter, but not cooled in the summer months.

About the Warehouse Operator Position:

Duties:

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties: Operates power order picking equipment to fill customer and branch orders. Operates power stocking equipment to receive and place material into stock. Operates power fork truck equipment to load trailer for domestic & international destinations. Loads manually when necessary. Pack and check material for shipment. Duties include: receiving, stocking, order-filling and shipping, damaged goods handling, and miscellaneous (housekeeping, change batteries, offer suggestions, etc...) Warehouse Operators must perform all required job duties in a safe manner and follow established policies and procedures.

Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M testing as a part of the selection process.

This position requires working overtime, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.

This position requires lifting 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.

To be considered for this position applicants must be interested in obtaining and maintaining a valid Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) license.

This a temporary position and hours worked cannot exceed a total of 899 hours within one year.

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3 years of experience in a warehouse operations role
* Experience operating Power Industrial Vehicles
* Experience working in industrial, farming/agriculture and or the military.
* Previous experience in manufacturing or supply chain
* Demonstrated attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Basic computer skills
