Position Description:

The Provider Installation Specialist is responsible for the installation and administration of assigned contracts, including, but not limited to: structure and billing set up, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and provider education materials. Provider Installation Specialists are also responsible for overall provider contract and amendment loading and processing using various databases. Responsibilities may also include auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measurers and reporting standards.


Responsible for all direct to COSMOS loads and/or Facets loads requiring work around the SmartPricer and all nonFacets pricing components such as APC, Composite APC, AWP, HSS, and WebStrat. It will allow us to use two additional loaders (ancillary and facility) that will be focused on clean loading that does not require IT interface and building of new products for expansion of FL of which is slated for Q1 2012.

  • Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.

  • Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.

  • Work exclusively within a specific knowledge area .

  • Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines.

  • Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.

Skills / Requirements



Requirements:


  • Some college is required

  • 2+ years of managed care insurance experience; i.e. someone who completely comprehends the insurance business and understanding medical terminology

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word and Excel; i.e. Word - creating and editing Word documents; Excel - creating spreadsheets, performing data entry, etc.



Assets:

  • Customer service experience

  • Medical billing experience

  • Credentialing and provider relations experience
