Job Summary
Applied Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Network Support Analyst QA to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will create, maintain, and support internal LAN and Online environments our Quality Assurance team needs to successfully install and support our products. This will include supporting virtual environments needed for the testing and development of all of our products, as well as third-party products. You will have extensive interaction with internal departments, including heavy collaboration with the Product Design and Development teams to provide test setups, updates, data backups/restores, and troubleshooting as required.

Additional responsibilities include:

* Provide input when necessary to groups responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining documentation relating to hardware/software requirements and other technical customer facing documentation
* Review Design Docs and Technical Specs for product features that affect the update or configuration of software or hardware of the product
* Train internal employees within own department of procedures involving file moves, server updates, VM creation and maintenance, and other procedures as assigned

Requirements:

* Associates Degree in IT or related field; or equivalent work experience
* Ability to gain thorough working knowledge of the networks and platforms on which Applied s products operate
* Learns to use project maintenance system (PMR & PMG)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* 1+ year of professional experience with networking, operating systems, and related hardware, including configuration knowledge
* 1+ year of professional experience with SQL Server, including performing database backups, restores, simple queries, and script application
* Able to research Hardware/Software Environment requests and provide solutions to them.
* Participates in developing and improving the product requirement standards, procedures, and development tools as needed
* Well-developed testing experience/solid troubleshooting skills
* Possess solid time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
